About me
I am a PhD student at Karlstad University with a research interest in neurodevelopmental disorders and environmental epidemiology. For my research within the PhD studies I use data from the SELMA study and am grateful to all the mothers and children for participating. To me doing epidemiologic research is like solving a riddle. What is it that makes us sick? What makes us resilient and protects us from getting sick? Applying this to my research I am asking myself, if certain chemicals that have the ability to interfere with the hormones in our body make us sick and specifically, if they affect the development of the brain and the nervous system.
